1) How are you occupying your time, besides looking for a job?
I work out, DJ private events and continue to work on my craft.
2) Do you plan on sticking with radio?
Yes, I really enjoy radio.
3) What has been your best resource for finding out about job openings?
I talk to my friends in the radio business to see if there are any opportunities at their stations, and I also use All Access a lot.
4) What is the next job you'd like to obtain?
I would like to have my own afternoon or night show.
5) With consolidation there are definitely fewer jobs. How do you separate yourself from the pack?
I separate myself by being a triple threat. I can DJ, be an air personality or get my hands dirty with promotions.
6) Are you spending as much time listening to radio as you used to?
Yes. I want to stay on top of radio and see what's new out there.
7) Are you able to slow down and enjoy free time doing things with your family and friends that you probably did not have time to do while you were working?
Yes. I have spent this time getting to know myself, enjoying my family, and perfecting my craft.
8) What has been your biggest career accomplishment?
I was one of the first DJs to play Rick Ross Hustlin'.
9) What do you miss most about music/radio? The least?
What I miss the most is the interaction with your listeners, and what I miss the least is not being able to have control on the music you play.
10) Any books you can recommend to people who need something inspirational to read?
Charlamagne Tha God's book Black Privilege is really good.
