Nielsen recently released a list of the most popular apps <http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-apps-on-mobile-os-2010-6#ixzz0qUkDDN20> on various smartphone platforms. The leading apps across all platforms (iPhone, Blackberry and Android) are very similar, with 4 of the top 5 being common to all 3 platforms. Here's a chart of the top 5 apps overall, as well as the lists for the individual platforms:
