Tech IPOs Accelerating This Year

The number of tech IPOs <http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-vc-backed-ipos-2010-7#ixzz0swNPhS2j> backed by venture capital firms has been accelerating this year. There were about twice as many in Q2 as there were in Q1. In fact, there were more in Q2 2010 than in the previous 2 years added together. Q2 was the best quarter since Q4 2007, the last quarter before the economy started to contract. It'll be interesting to see how bullish the VCs remain with the sudden fears about a possible double dip recession.
