The L-A Times says some of the estimated 200-to-400-thousand dollars from the sale will be donated to the California animal preserve that is home to the two Bengal tigers that Michael used to keep on the Neverland Ranch.
The auction in Beverly Hills will be held June 25 and 26. Would you marry someone with seven-thousand piercings?
DOUG WATSON did. In what the London Telegraph described (with a pic, of course) as a "low-key" reception, Doug married ELAINE DAVIDSON, "a bizarre sight in a flowing white wedding gown and floral tiara with only her face visible, which was painted green and covered in 192 piercings."
Doug's fashion choice was a little more muted: Navy blue suit, light blue shirt, tie. She's 46; he's in his 60s.
"Elaine looked astonishing," said Doug. "People see the piercings but I see the amazing personality underneath."
The couple met 15 years ago and has been together ever since. And Elaine, who runs an aromatherapy shop, has really moved up in the world since then. When first accredited by the Guinness World Record book in 2000, she had a mere 462 piercings.
The 6,925 she lugs around now are said to weigh almost seven pounds. (Maiman)
