Guilty Pleasures:
No winner in Saturday night's drawing for the Powerball Lottery. That means tonight's drawing is valued at $111 million ($58.3 million cash value). Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington DC and the U-S Virgin Islands. Chances of winning the grand prize (all five numbers plus the powerball) are 1 in 195.2 million.
Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
Great news --LINDSAY LOHAN and PARIS HILTON are B-F-F's again! Buddies of the dueling divas tell TMZ.com the rehabbed redhead hit up gay Paree's beach party last weekend. Lilo's appearance was quite a shock as no one thought she was buddies with the heiress, but they immediately jumped into one anothers' arms for a big hug. (Lee)
MILA KUNIS will do almost anything for a role. After losing 20 pounds for her role as a ballerina in "Black Swan", the "Friends with Benefits" actress tells Star magazine that she ate mac and cheese the night she finished filming and then drove to an In-N-Out Burger when she got back to L.A. and ordered a Double Double Animal Style with a root beer float! (Myers)
Chic Sh*t:
There's a professional poker player who owns more than 12-hundred pairs of designer shoes.
BETH SHAK recently took part in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, She's also appeared on an episode of "Millionaire Matchmaker." She told Women's Wear Daily that she buys a new pair of designer shoes every time she competes. She has built up her collection over the last seven years. Her favorite designer is Christian Louboutin. She owns about 700 of them, including her most expensive pair. Those are alligator pumps that cost four-thousand dollars. (Bartha)Grace notes:
JENNIFER LOPEZ is dating DIDDY. Again. MediaTakeOut.com says just weeks after J-Lo announced she was getting a divorce from MARC ANTHONY, the word is that she reached out to Diddy late last year when her marriage seemed to be on its last legs.
They were a couple over 10 years ago and had not spoken to each other since the breakup. But, lately, they've been calling and texting each other. Last Wednesday, J-Lo and Diddy went out on a date! They were spotted at the swanky New York City restaurant Phillipe Chow. They arrived separately, but left together. (Marino)LADY GAGA will be a judge on tonight's "So You Think You Can Dance." She'll give her thumbs up or down on the final eight contestants. Then, tomorrow night, Gaga will peform on the show. Then, later on, Gaga will also do her thing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The entire block in Hollywood behind Jimmy's studio will be closed off and Gaga will do her new single, "You And I" in the street. (Marino)
Taking everything much too seriously:
If you enjoy breakfast, and you like MARILYN MONROE --you'll love this.
Orange.co.uk says New Zealand artist MAURICE BENNETT has immortalized Marilyn with a huge portrait made of toast (picture). Bennett's creation is made from 6-thousand slices of bread and measures 10-feet by 13-feet.
Bennett --also known as 'The Toast Man' --based his work on a famous ANDY WARHOL painting. He says, "I took Warhol's work then completely re-shaped and re-interpreted it so it worked in the very different medium of toast." (Still)Men are from Mars, etc.:
A new study from AskMen.com and Cosmopolitanmagazine shows a bunch of new differences between men and women (like you're surprised at this point).
According to the study, half of all men would ditch their partner for gaining weight, while only 20 percent of women would do so. Two-thirds of men said they had fantasized about their partner's friends, compared to one third of women. 51 percent of men wish they were better, ahem, endowed, compared to 18 percent of women. And 50 percent of men were more likely to lie about the number of sex partners they had compared with 35 percent of women.
In comparison, 39 percent of men thought that their families were the ultimate status symbol. 43 percent of women considered that to be a beautiful home.
Editor's Note: Conclusion? Men can be pigs and women can be shallow. This is new? (AB)
