Divorcing:
DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE frontman BEN GIBBARD was served with divorce papers by his wife of two years, actress ZOEY DESCHANEL. The couple announced they had broken up in November, and she's claiming irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. They got married in September of 2009 and Zoey's spokesperson says the breakup was amicable. Zoey has been nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the Fox sitcom, "New Girl." (Marino)
Engaged:
After over four, long years of togetherness, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is finally making an honest woman out of JESSICA BIEL. Several sources tell Us Weekly the heartthrob popped the question in Jackson, Wyoming, in late December. Word is the brunette bombshell is quite the snow bunny, so the location was perfect and insiders claim the groom-to-be has "never been happier." Justin and Jessica have been together four-and-a-half years, not included a three-month time out in 2011. But, when they made up, Jessica said she was in it for the long haul, and Justin bought a ring. The date for big day should be announced soon. (Lee /Marino)
Sick bay:
MARIAH CAREY started the new year in the hospital. She's OK, but her husband NICK CANNON is suffering from (quote), "mild kidney failure." They were on vacation in Aspen, Colorado, when Nick got sick. Mariah has been by his side the whole time and said Nick has been in a lot of pain. She's asking for your prayers. (Marino)

This would be Taylor Swift's first big role in the movies, but not Amanda Seyfried, who starred in the 2008 film version of the musical, "Mamma Mia!"Look for PATRICIA ARQUETTE to play JEFF BUCKLEY's mother in the upcoming movie about the late singer. Broadway star REEVE CARNEY (from "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark") will play Buckley, who tragically drowned at age 30 in 1997. His father, musician TIM BUCKLEY, died at age 28 of a drug overdose.
And Daily Variety says there's another movie about Buckley in the works as well, being done by "Gossip Girl" star PENN BADGLEY.The SINEAD O’CONNOR saga is not quite over yet. First, she said her 16 day marriage was over, but now, it’s back on, baby! So, they’re going to try the boyfriend/girlfriend thing...even though they are still technically married. Sinead and Barry will live together and get to know each other...you know, like you’re supposed to do before you tie the knot. Sinead Tweeted, “so me all happy! me love me hubby...he love me and f**k who no like it. God is good.” (Marino)
