Your Body:
Past studies have shown that drinking red wine can be good for your heart. But new research suggests it doesn't always have to be wine.
Findings published in the European Heart Journal show men who have one or two drinks a day might have a better chance of surviving after having a heart attack.
Researchers say there's a clear link between the drinks and a longer survival time. Harvard researchers only studied men, but say the findings should be the same for women. Subjects in the study who showed the lower death risk had about two drinks a day over a period of about 20 years. (Page)Filling a need:
A company in the United Arab Emirates has made ordering a pizza online even easier.
Orange.co.uk says Dubai-based fast food company Red Tomato has created a small fridge magnet with a built-in Bluetooth device. Customers simply configure their pizza order in advance, choosing their favorite toppings. Then, they can tap on the pizza box-shaped magnet and it automatically transmits the pizza order without any further interaction. (Still)Movies that will suck:
Hard to believe this one, but yes, it's true: there's gonna be a sequel to that ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER /DANNY DeVITO movie, "Twins," from 1988.
In the movie, the pair are conceived by artificial insemination, then raised separately, only to find out they each have a twin brother. In the new movie, "Triplets," there will be a third brother as well... and the Hollywood Reporter says he'll be played by (wait for it...) EDDIE MURPHY.
Can you say, "mortgage payment"?
There's no director or writer for the film at this point, but you can see this one coming on the horizon, since all the stars are confirmed for the film.Trolling for publicity:
Want to rock a body like FERGIE? Hope you like the great outdoors! The Duchess told RACHAEL RAY on her daytime talk show that she gets bored with old-fashioned workouts, so she goes for a hike and walks uphill to stretch those glutes. Jumping rope is another one of her tried-and-true calorie burners, but recommends wearing two sports bras. (Lee)
What's Poppin':
The Chinese are going crazy for a robo-toilet.
It's called the Numi, an American-made robotic toilet. The Numi features motion detectors, a remote control to open and close the seat, a three-speed setting for the bidet, and even flush and leg-warming porcelain. And you'll never be bored again thanks to the built in stereo system. While it retails for a whopping $64-hundred bucks, customers have to get on a waiting list to buy one.
Editor's note: Well, of course. You hear these ads for the mattress stores and they're always telling you that you spend a third of your life sleeping, but how much of that time is spent on the john? (Maiman) -
