Squeamies Alert
Now THIS is crazy... Surgically implanted eye jewlery is a real thing. For only $3,000, you can get a tiny platinum heart implanted in your eyeball. The "Safesight jewelry" procedure is being offered by DR EMIL CHYNN of Park Avenue Laser Vision in New York City. According to the story from Fox News, the procedure involves --Squeamies Alert! --making a little incision in your sclera (the white of your eye) and inserting a thin piece of platinum into your eye. The procedure is not --repeat not-- FDA approved. But Dr. Chynn says the surgery is "pretty safe." Local bleeding from the eye "will go away in a couple of days -- or a couple of weeks.

A widow in Belgium allegedly slept with the mummified remains of her husband for a year.
The woman's landlord discovered the body when he entered the apartment because the woman had stopped paying rent. Neighbors had also been complaining about a pungent odor coming from the place. Tests show the husband died of natural causes last year at the age of 73. Belgian newspapers have printed photos of the corpse. Police are still deciding whether to press charges. If you're loving those WILL FERRELL commercials for the Dodge Durango which also serve as a plug for his upcoming movie, "Anchorman 2," then you'll wanna tune in tonight when Will --in character as Ron Burgundy-- gets interviewed by CONAN O'BRIEN. It's not the first time it's happened --Ron was also on in March of last year, surprising the studio audience with a lively jazz flute performance and announcing that the "Anchorman" sequel had been given the green light.
Lowering expectations:
England's largest casino is hiring little people as "door dwarfs."
The Hippodrome Casino in London wants to be known for having Britain's smallest bouncers. So, they've put out an ad for people under four-foot-10-inches to act as "door control and customer relations." Owner SIMON THOMAS says, "It fits perfectly with the way we do things here: differently, with a lot of fun involved." The Hippodrome also hires dwarfs to perform in all their stage shows. (Still) -
