Popped by the cops:
WWE star ADAM ROSE (real name: RAYMOND LEPPAN) was arrested on charges of domestic violence and felony tampering early yesterday morning at 1:30 am. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Florida tells Us Weekly that the wrestler is accused of grabbing his wife, CASSANDRA, by the face during an argument and ripped a phone away from her as she tried to dial 911.
He's being held without bail, was just given a 60-day suspension for drug use and a second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy and is now "suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
A spokesman for the WWE said "WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated." (Lee)Heading to a cell:
ETHAN COUCH --the Texas teenager who used an "afflenza" defense after killing four people and injuring nine others when he was found to be driving drunk with a blood-alcohol level of three times the legal limit-- was sentenced to 180 days in jail yesterday for each of the four people killed in the incident.
Ethan turned 19 on Apr 11, and was transferred from the juvenile court to the adult court. He will not be allowed to drink, use drugs or drive, and he will be required to meet regularly with a community supervision officer during his probation after serving his time --nearly two years-- in jail.Auctioning off his gun:
Another name from the recent past, GEORGE ZIMMERMAN, is putting the nine-millimeter pistol he used to shoot TRAYVON MARTIN in 2012 up for auction.
The NY Daily News says he hopes to get at least $5-thousand for the gun at Gunbroker.com.
"Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. This is a piece of American History," Zimmerman wrote in the description. He also claimed a portion of the proceeds will go to fight Black Lives Matter "violence against law enforcement officers" and to end "HILLARY CLINTON's anti-firearm rhetoric." -
