Sucking the life out of the wire services:
Thousands of people go under the knife to give their features a once-over every year and one plastic surgeon discovered what celebrities have the most popular options on the operating table. Dr. JULIAN DE SILVA surveyed a thousand patients and tells the UK's Daily Mailthat the world's "most desirable face" would feature a lot of famous features like:
--JENNIFER LOPEZ's eyebrows
--ANGELINA JOLIE's cheeks
--CHER's jawline
--KEIRA KNIGHTLEY's eyes
--PENELOPE CRUZ's lips
--MILEY CYRUS' forehead
--REESE WITHERSPOON's skin and. . .
--SELENA GOMEZ's chin.
DUCHESS KATE wasn't left out of the study because Dr. De Silva says she's got a "mathematically perfect" nose. (Lee)Reality Round-Up:
ABC has already decided on its next "Bachelor."
NICK VIALL, who was the runner-up on both KAITLYN BRISTOWE's and ANDI DORFMAN's seasons of "The Bachelorette" and is currently on the third season of "Bachelor in Paradise," will be the next guy looking for love on the show, which is scheduled to be back in January.Stupid people, stupid places:
Yesterday was the annual climax of La Tomatina, a festival that is held in the town of Buñol, Spain, where 20-thousand people spend the morning between 11 am and 1 pm throwing tomatoes at each other.
The festival --which has been held since 1945-- starts earlier in the week, but it's the Wednesday before the end of the month of August which is traditionally used for tomato-tossing. More than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets.Look what I found:
Pretty sure this isn't what they meant when they said "have a Coke and a smile." Police found almost $57-millon dollars worth of cocaine at the Coca-Cola plant in France. The drugs were hidden in bags included with a shipment of orange juice from South America. Police have already ruled out any employee involvement. (Myers)
Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
KIEFER SUTHERLAND is now a bona fide country music artist. The actor's debut album, "Down In A Hole" is in at number 35 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and number 18 on the Americana/Folk Albums chart. Nielsen Music says a thousand total units were sold for the week that ends today. The first single, "Not Enough Whiskey," was released back in March. (Marino)
