Reality Round-Up:
GORDON RAMSAY will be hosting a new, live cooking show and variety series called "The F Word" for FOX.
TV Line reports producers may have to keep their fingers on the "bleep" button for the appropriately-named series, since Gordon is famous in TV circles for his (ahem) "salty language." it's nothing new for Gordon, however, since the series is based on Gordon's British series which has the same name. On, off and way-off-Broadway:
"Hamilton" creator LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA is showing his love for HILLARY CLINTON. The New York Daily News says he's producing a "Stronger Together" fundraiser for her in New York on October 17th. BILLY CRYSTAL will host with all sorts of big time guests like JULIA ROBERTS, HUGH JACKMAN, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, ANNE HATHAWAY, NEIL PATRICK HARRIS and many others. Tickets run from $45-dollars all the way up to $10-thousand dollars. (Marino)
Today's police blotter:
A guy in New Jersey is accused of wearing something a little too revealing to the beach.
Police say 59-year-old STEPHEN WOJCIEHOWSKI designed his own bikini out of clear plastic wrap. Then, he allegedly hung out on a Long Beach Island beach for two days in full public view. He was arrested and charged with lewdness after beachgoers complained about getting more than an eyeful. (Still)Lowering expectations:
China is experimenting with transparent bathroom stalls.
Brand new see-through restrooms are now open to the public at China's Shiyan Lake Resort. The bathrooms provide a clear 360-degree view of the surrounding forest and the stalls and urinals inside feature dividers made of glass. Officials say the restrooms were built specifically for tourists with no concern for privacy. (Still) -
