Trolling for publicity:
Want to look as good as KELSEA BALLERINI did last night at the CMA Awards? The super-fit singer --who happens to share a trainer with CARRIE UNDERWOOD-- was nice enough to dish out her preciousfitness secrets to E! News. Kelsea got in tip-top shape for "Country Music's Biggest Night" by focusing on hamstring rolls on a big ball, lifting light weights for her shoulders, getting some cardio in by slamming battle ropes and variations of squats and lunges. Kelsea likes to keep it real and suggests you make the goal to get "strong, not skinny." (Lee)
Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
A documentary about the terror attacks in Paris is in the works. Pitchfork.com says it will be told from the perspective of EAGLES OF DEATH METAL who were performing at the Bataclan concert hall on November 13th of last year when gunman opened fire inside the venue. COLIN HANKS will direct the film which HBO is producing. The cable network plans to have the film ready to air in February of 2017. (Marino)
Pet Patrol:
A cat in New York has become a web celebrity thanks to his teeth.
The kitty, who has long fangs, goes by the online nickname VAMPIRE CAT MONK. Monk and her cat partner named BEAN are the stars of the Instagram account MonkandBean, which has tens-of-thousands of followers. The profile features video and images of Monk showing off his sharp three-quarter-inch teeth while playing with Bean. The cat's owner says Monk has been declared completely healthy and normal by vets, in spite of his unique choppers. (Still)Going Geek-dot-com:
Now hear this! You cannot vote via text message! And you cannot vote on Twitter! Don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. Mashable reports that anti-Clinton Twitter users are spreading voter misinformation with ads that look like they came from the HILLARY CLINTON campaign --They say, "Avoid the line," and "Text 'Hillary' to a [number.]" The problem, of course, is that this is all fake. Since the fake ads were noticed yesterday, many have been taken down and reporter to Twitter for violating the microblogging site's terms of service.
Editor's note: What you can do to make sure your vote counts: call your county clerk or board of elections office. Ask them to confirm you are registered and where your polling place is located. You can also ask if they have early or mail-in voting. But you have to submit an actual ballot at an official polling place. Texts are not votes. (Bartha) -
