Post-election panic:
Web searches for birth control have skyrocketed since DONALD TRUMP won the election.
It's believed that concern over the President-elect's plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act may have led to the increase in searches for intrauterine device contraception. According to Google, users have been typing in terms like: "get an IUD before it's too late," "get an iud now," and "iud Trump." Many insurance companies currently cover the devices. (Still)And... in the wake of DONALD TRUMP's election, Varietyreports Disney CEO BOB IGER has said the Florida theme park already has a bust of Trump ready to take its place in the Hall of the Presidents in Orlando.
Taking everything much too seriously:
Men and women feel very differently about "the girls."
KYA GRANITO of England said her size-HH breasts just keep growing and are ruining her life. "I can't afford a bra cause they've gotten so big, I'm getting new clothes every two weeks cause my breasts outgrow them every time; my back is in so much distress that I can't move out of my bed sometimes or get off the sofa and few times I've been stuck in the bath cause of them, but apparently according to the doctors they're 'not' affecting my life."
Now, Kya says she's suffering from depression and anxiety and has finally had enough. She's started a crowdfunder page to raise over $10-thousand American dollars to have a reduction surgery. (Myers)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
THE ROLLING STONES released a live album and DVD/Bu-ray today called "Havana Moon." It was filmed and recorded at the band's historic concert in Cuba on March 25th, but it's not the full documentary about the tour. THAT film, "Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America," will be shown in movie theaters for one night only, December 12th, and then eventually get released on DVD and Blu-ray. RollingStone.com released a clip yesterday of MICK and KEITH talking about how they wrote "Honky Tonk Women." (Marino)
Skywatching:
This month's "supermoon" will be the biggest full moon seen in the sky since 1948. A supermoon results when the moon reaches its full phase at its closest point to Earth in its orbit. That causes the moon to look somewhat bigger and brighter in the sky than usual. EarthSky.org says Sunday night, November 13th is the best night for most people in the U.S. to watch for the supermoon, because we're west of the International Dateline. (Elsewhere it's the 14th.) But if you're up very early Monday morning on your way in to work, you'll get a good show too. (Bartha)
Also happening Monday and Tuesday night: the Leonid meteor shower. -
