Political Racket /Dirty Tricks:
You could have made some money if you'd bet ANDREW PUZDER would be the next cabinet official to resign. British betting site PaddyPower.com has odds for "The Next Member of the Trump Administration to Resign" and was giving Puzder 16/1 odds. Odds on the rest of the cabinet resigning:
--VP Mike Pence 33/1 (longshot)
--Wilbur Ross, David Shulkin, Andrew Puzder or John F Kelly, all 16/1
--Steve Mnuchin and Tom Price, each 14/1
--Rick Perry, Ben Carson, Elaine Chao, Ryan Zinke or Sonny Perdue, all 10/1
--James Mattis, 17/2
--Rex Tillerson or Betsy DeVos, each 6/1
--Jeff Sessions (favorite), 9/2
FYI: The site also has Trump side bets on things like Foreign Policy specials, like when the Mexican Wall will be finished, and other items including the first Trump Family member to condemn a decision he makes as President, and which will end first --his presidency or his marriage.Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
"Harry Potter" actress SCARLETT BYRNE will be appearing nude in the March/April issue of Playboy.
The London Daily Mailreports Scarlett, who starred as Draco Malfoy's friend, Pansy Parkinson, is now 26 --all grown up-- and shared a Valentine's Day photo of herself from the spread on Instagram and captioned it: "Nude is normal." Of course, it makes a bit more sense when you know that Scarlett is also COOPER HEFNER's fiance. She became engaged to HUGH HEFNER's son in August of 2015, although the two have not yet tied the knot.
She's also appeared in "The Vampire Diaries" and "Falling Skies."Everyday heroes:
An Ohio college student has been named the nation's top grocery bagger.
Twenty-three year-old University of Akron accounting student BRADY LONG is a bagger at Buehler's Fresh Foods. He competed against two dozen other baggers at the National Grocers Association's Best Bagger championship in Las Vegas this past weekend. Contestants were judged on speed, technique, style, attitude, and other factors. Long took home top honors and a $10-thousand dollar grand prize. It's his second time winning the prize. He plans to use the money to buy a new car to replace his 21-year-old van. (Still)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
KID ROCK for U.S. Senator? Hey, it could happen!
RollCall.com reported yesterday that Kid, whose real name is ROBERT RITCHIE, and is a native of Romeo, Michigan, was brought up as a possible Republican contender for Michigan Democrat DEBBIE STABENOW's Senate seat next year at the Michigan Republican Party convention last weekend.
But... Roll Call says no official decisions have been made.
He's a Republican, that's for sure. Kid was a big DONALD TRUMP supporter during the presidential campaign, and sold Trump-branded merchandise (like a hat which says "Make America Badass Again" or a shirt saying "God, Guns and Trump") which you can still buy HERE and HERE. No comment from Kid yet. (Marino) -
