Taking everything much too seriously:
"Fast and Furious" star VIN DIESEL is more than just an actor --he's a sandwich.
Mechanical engineer WILLIAM OSMAN of Ventura, California used a high-tech laser cutter to craft a ham and cheese sandwich that looks exactly like Vin Diesel. Osman posted video of the celebrity-inspired delicacy to YouTube with a caption explaining his process of using "laser-cut cross sections of laser-cut ham."
Osman says he used a computer to create a model of Diesel, then crafted the sandwich with the cheapest supermarket ham he could find. (Still)Animal Stories:
The bald eagles at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC, are having babies.
The male eagle, known as "Mr. President" and the female, known as "First Lady," have a nest high up in a tulip poplar tree and she laid two eggs. The Arboretum installed a camera and --as you might expect-- a baby eaglet broke out of its shell yesterday morning, (hopefully) with another to follow.

JASON ALDEAN has a soft spot for breast cancer survivors and is putting a few to work on his upcoming tour. The country boy is offering up a gig as an Honorary Roadie, giving out tickets, VIP backstage passes and meet-and-greet tickets to people that have beat the horrible disease and says they want to treat as many as they can with a "night out to take their minds off everything else." Jason has raised over three-million-dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation since 2004 --submit your favorite survivor here. (Lee)
