Lowering expectations:
Well, this is one way to move your furniture.
A guy in Lexington, North Carolina, was spotted moving a full sized couch with a small motor scooter. Driver COREY McMILLIAN couldn't believe his eyes when he snapped the photo with the caption: "The things you see in little ole Lexington!" The man was later identified as WHITTNEY BIGGERSTAFF who says he found the couch on the side of the road. Biggerstaff says, "I don't need two men and a truck, when you can do one man and a scooter."
He admits the couch is the largest thing he's ever hauled on his scooter. (Still)Anniversaries:
The Stonewall Riot at NYC's gay bar, the Stonewall Inn (1969). The event pretty much marks the beginning of the gay liberation movement.
Chic Sh*t:
BRITNEY SPEARS still looks great and smells even better after all these years. Us Weeklyreports the superstar is launching another fragrance called VIP Private Show by Britney Spears on July 10th. The foo foo juice features notes of blood orange, violet blossom and golden amber, was inspired by her charisma and sparkling allure and will be available at Kohls and Kohls.com for just $33.(Lee)
Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
Wanna get PAUL McCARTNEY to play your town? Name a street after him! The Gwinnett Daily Post says Sir Paul is booked at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia, which is outside the Atlanta metro area. To convice him to come to Duluth, city officials offered to honor Paul with his own street. The ex-BEATLE suggested Paul McCartney Boulevard, and so it is. The concert is on July 13th and the folks at the arena will make sure Paul sees his road sign while he's in town. (Marino)
