Off the beaten path:
A restaurant in Zhejiang province is reportedly giving discounts to women based on their bra size.
The diner, called Trendy Shrimp, has a sign outside showing images of women with various breast sizes. According to the sign, women with an A-cup get a 5-percent discount, while those with a G-cup get a 65-percent discount. Manager LAN SHENGGANG says customers love the offer. He claims business went up 20-percent after he put up the sign. Lan explains, "Some of the girls we met were very proud. They had nothing to hide." However, after a few days, Lan decided to remove the sign after several locals complained. (Still)Models:
KATE MOSS is launching her first luxury make-up product. New Yorkmagazine's The Cut says the model is launching a makeup set with Japanese luxury brand Decorté and it's pegged to debut exclusively inside Saks Fifth Avenue stores later this month. But you can preorder the palette online right now. It's called the Kate Moss Favorites Set. The palette includes four matte lip shades, a red lip pencil, four eye shadows (including "Moss Green," naturally), a black liquid eyeliner, a brow pencil, and a shimmery bronzer and highlighter. Encased in a small black bag, the entire set can be yours for $190. (Bartha)
Another Chalk Outline:
Maybe the car should have padlocks on the outsideof the doors.
The back door of a coroner's van in Olympia, Washington, opened on the highway and fell into traffic. They had just picked up a body from a home when they came to an intersection to stop. As the car proceeded, the door opened and two gurneys rolled out, one empty ...and one with a body. The body stopped in the intersection but the empty one rolled down the street into a parking lot. Both were recovered and there was no trauma to the body. (Myers)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
NICK JONAS will sing on a boat. Billboard.com says he's booked for the Carnival Live Concert series on September 21st and 22nd on the Carnival Victory, and then the Carnival Liberty. Obviously, you have to be a passenger on either cruise to see the shows, but each one will cost you another $75-dollars per ticket or $250-dollars for the VIP package, even if you're already on the ship!
