Fast Food:
Domino's Pizza and the Ford Motor Company are reportedly working on a new pizza delivery system in which your Domino's pizza would be delivered by one of Ford's new, driverless cars.
The idea is being tested beginning this week in Ann Arbor, MI. When the car arrives at a home, the customer will get a text message telling them how to get the pizza. The hungry pizza customer will then come out, type a four-digit code on a keypad, and then the rear window will open, allowing the them to pick up their order from the car's heated compartment.
Ford says there will be one of their engineers located in a blacked-out compartment in the car's front seat just in case, but customers won't be able to see him so they can't interact with him during the test.Broadcast, cable and video news:
Are you one of those people who loves "The Walking Dead"???
Then you'll be elated to find out that AMC will be launching a game based on the show for the iPhone and iPad as well as Android devices.
The Wrap reports the game --called "The Walking Dead: Our World," is similar to "Pokemon Go," in that people playing the game will allow its players to fight walkers as they move around in real life. The game will also reportedly feature fan-favorite characters from the show that can help in the fight, like Daryl and Michonne.Idiots or Insane:
Clowns all over the world aren't too happy with STEPHEN KING.
The World Clown Association is ticked, saying actor BILL SKARSGARD's terrifying adaptation of Pennywise the Clown in the upcoming movie,"It,"is giving them a bad name and losing jobs for them.
The movie, which is due in theaters on September 8th, is about a clown that terrorizes kids and kills them. WCA president PAM MOODY said she's had several library and school shows for clowns cancelled as of late, but says Pennywise has "nothing to do with clowning." Of course, "American Horror Story" and the evil clown sightings last year didn't help much, either. (Myers)Trolling for IQ points:
If you feel the sudden urge to take off your clothes and hop on a bicycle, you might want to head to Philadelphia.
The annual Philly Naked Bike Ride is slated for Tuesday September 9th. Thousands of naked riders will hit the streets, arriving at checkpoints throughout the city. Stops along the way include the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Independence Hall. Participants can show up in the buff or dressed as they see fit. Many riders choose to wear only body paint for the event. The ride is said to be a way to promote a positive body image while also protesting fossil fuel dependence. (Still)
