Trolling for publicity:
Have you tried everything from portion control to Paleo and still wind up unable to resist junk food? BLAKE LIVELY is here to save the day with the most simple diet in history! The NY Post's Page Six gossip column reports the actress keeps a photo of GISELE BUNDCHEN wearing a bikini in her freezer and admits the approach "gets in the way of my ice cream."(Lee)
On, off and way-off-Broadway:
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN may be staying on Broadway for a long time. The New York Post says The Boss is having such a good time playing five shows a week at the Walter Kerr Theater that the February 2018 end date may be extended. He was only supposed to do the residency through November 26th, but after that sold out immediately, 10 more weeks were added. Now, Bruce is reportedly thinking about going through June of 2018. Today's police blotter:
A police officer is in trouble for pulling over his ex-girlfriend. But wait, it gets worse.
That's because the Florida cop who pulled over his ex and her new boyfriend isn't really a cop at all. Authorities say 22-year-old CHRISTOPHER COMBS is only a cadet, studying to be a police officer. He's accused of borrowing his dad's patrol car. After all, dad is actually a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy.
Prosecutors say Combs pulled the couple over and made the new boyfriend step out of the vehicle. It's unclear whether any threats were made. But, real police arrested Combs a short time later. He's been ordered to stay away from the couple. A department spokesperson says he's also no longer a cadet "effective right now!" (Still)
