Broadcast, cable and video news:
If you're a Netflix subscriber, you could be the target of yet still another credit-card scam.
A new email is flooding inboxes, claiming to be from Netflix, and tells you that your account is about to be canceled. What they want you to do is log on to a fake Netflix website and then provide them with your account information --your log-in and credit card numbers.
Then, of course, they take that and rob you blind.
The site looks real, because the hackers use the real Netflix logo and show logos like "The Crown" and "House of Cards" to make you think it's the real deal. But of course, it isn't.Animal Stories:
A realtor in Australia was conducting an open house when an unexpected visitor walked in.
STUART COSTELLO of Magain Real Estate posted video of a wild koala making itself at home. His caption reads: "Good turnout at my Belair open (house) today." Costello says one of the selling points of the house is that it's surrounded by nature and the koala showing up proved his point. He adds, "It was nice way to see what you get first-hand."
Editor's note: Unfortunately, the animal didn't make an offer to buy the house. It turns out he was... un-koala-fied. (Still)Sucking up:
TYRESE GIBSON has a very personal, famous version of GoFundMe and their names are WILL and JADA PINKETT SMITH. The "Fast and the Furious" star revealed on Instagram that his "sister" and "brother" sent him five-million-dollars to "help keep us afloat." Tyrese was very grateful for the cash injection, says he'll use the money for his daughter's legal fees and admits they had just one request --that he'd "get off and stay off the internet!"
Mr. Gibson is going through a nasty custody battle with his ex-wife, NORMA GIBSON, over their nine-year-old daughter, SHAYLA.(Lee)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
KATY PERRY's fashion sense will be on display at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. "Frock & Roll: Transforming Music and Fashion" opens tonight while Katy begins her three-night run at the Staples Center right down the street from the museum. You can see what Katy wore at the Grammy Awards over the years and on various red carpets as well as her on stage outfits from her Prismatic World Tour, and the outfit Kate wore during her halftime show at Super Bowl 49. The exhibit will run through the spring of 2018. (Marino)
