The President at play:
PRESIDENT TRUMP said yesterday that he's ordered the Department of Justice to come up with regulations that would ban "bump stocks." Those devices allow semi-automatic guns to be modified to shoot hundreds of rounds per minute.
During an announcement at the White House, he said, "We can do more to protect our children. We must do more to protect our children. Referring back to a deadly Las Vegas shooting, he added, "That process began in December and just a few moments ago I signed a memorandum directing the Attorney General to propose regulations to ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns."
However, it doesn't appear that any bump stock was used in this month's Florida mass shooting. (Pacelli)Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
Did Cupid work his magic on the set of "Black Panther?" Co-stars LUPITA NYONG'O and MICHAEL B. JORDAN seem very friendly these days and got downright physical backstage at "The View." TMZ features footage of the actress popping into Michael's dressing room where she touches him several times, requests that he drop and give her a push-up and he happily accepts the challenge.
Editor's note: If you watch the video, she seems way more "into" him than he does her. Is someone "perfect" crushing on you, but you're simply not interested? (Lee)Fashion Emergency:
Has LINDSAY LOHAN converted to Islam? The actress-turned-poster-child-for-troubled-child-stars was spotted in a black hijab at a show for London's "Modest" Fashion Week show. The New York Postsays London Modest Fashion Week was launched in 2017 by Haute Elan, a brand that's a major player in the modest fashion movement. For those who keep up with Lindsay's many headline grabbing adventures, her hijab debut is not a surprise. Since this past spring, there's been buzz that the actress has converted to Islam. She's told the press that she's read the Quranand has expressed interest in learning Arabic. In January 2018, she changed her Instagram bio to read "Salam Aleikum," a common greeting among Muslims that translates to "peace be upon you." (Bartha)
