Olympics:
The 2018 Winter Olympics are over, with the closing ceremonies last night. Now comes the question, what will the athletes do now? If you said, "Dancing With the Stars," you're right.
Already figure skater MIRAI NAGASU has said she'd like a spot on the show, and frankly, the season which begins April 30 could be just the place for Olympians, since it's an all-athletes season this time. We'll see who else will be on --but what sports figure --or Olympian-- would you like to see on the show? What's Poppin':
Congratulations to AMY NELSON of beautiful Zionville, North Carolina, who is the latest winner of the 54th Pillsbury Bake-Off. The Daily Meal reports she rose above all the rest by submitting a recipe for Bejeweled Cranberry-Orange Rolls, which feature cranberries, pineapple, ginger beer, and were inspired by her mom's cranberry salad. Her originality scored her a trip to New York City, where she'll appear on "The Kitchen," be featured in Food Network Magazine, get a kitchen makeover compliments of GE Appliances and $50-thousand dollars! Look what I found:
How do you keep a body for three years and not know it?
Spartanburg, South Carolina, coroner RUSTY CLEVENGER said someone from the First Family Funeral Home called and said they discovered the decomposed body of a woman that was supposed to have been cremated three years ago. The body of MARY ALICE PITTS MOORE, who was 63 when she passed of natural causes. Family members have been notified and an investigation is taking place. (Myers)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
When you think of PRINCE, of course the first thing that comes to mind is... baked goods! Billboard.com says a new cookbook is on the way called "Little Red Velvette" with recipes on how to make such pun-filled delectables as Raspberry Beret tarts, Darling Stikki toffee puddings, Starfish and Coffee... well, you get the idea. The book will be out on April 21st. (Marino)
