The White House:
CNN reports that White House chief of staff JOHN KELLY and PRESIDENT TRUMP are both furious that specific details of Mr. Trump's national security briefing materials telling him not to congratulate Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN on his weekend election win were leaked to the press. The Washington Post reported that the president's national security advisers specifically instructed him not to congratulate Putin on his electoral victory and that the materials read "DO NOT CONGRATULATE."
CNN cites a source who says the president was asking allies and outside advisers who they thought was responsible for the leak. That source also says this latest episode has again given some possible validity to the president's belief that some members of his administration are actively working against him. Looking for some cheap toys for the kids? Liquidation sales are slated to begin today at most of Toys R Us' stores in the US. Fortune magazine reports some stores may close prior to the 14-week timeline, but the sales of the various stores are scheduled to be finished by the end of June.
If you purchased toys at a store before its liquidation sale begins, you can return them to any open store, but once a store has a liquidation sale, returns will not be accepted. Gift cards are redeemable through Apr 12.On, off and way-off-Broadway:
STING filled in at the last minute during the production of his Broadway musical, "The Last Ship" in his hometown of Newcastle, England. The UK's Daily Mail says JOE CAFFREY lost his voice before Monday night's performance at Northern Stage, so since Sting was in the house, he hopped on stage to sing "Underground River." Another actor took over the role for the rest of the show. (Marino)
Animal Stories:
Jurassic Park has to arrived in Eloy, Arizona.
The Eloy police actually got phone calls from people asking if the dinos in the park were real. The dinosaurs were from Dino Crew Entertainment and were operated by humans with a screen and camera so they can interact with people.
And 9-1-1 weren't the only ones called about the reptiles. Animal control also got called and even showed up at the park to check out the disturbance. See the dinos here. (Myers)
