Hoops:
Your brackets may have tubed for the NCAA Men's basketball final four, but over on the women's side, all four number one seeds made it to the final four.
Last night, the UConn Huskies beat South Carolina 94-65, while Notre Dame beat Oregon, 84-74. They'll join Mississippi State and Louisville in the national semifinals on Friday and the women'snational championship game on Sunday.Good luck:
A Virginia man disobeyed his wife's orders --and it paid off big time.
OLIVER DAVIS, Jr., of Portsmouth had promised his wife he'd stop spending money on lottery tickets. But, Davis couldn't resist picking up a Super Cash Frenzy ticket when he went to the store Friday. He says, "I broke a promise, but I think she'll forgive me this time." That's because Davis won the $4-million-dollar top prize. He plans to use the money to "take care of his family." (Still)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
If you're already a Ticketmaster Verified Fan, you probably got an email yesterday about the new block of tickets for "Springsteen On Broadway." He's extended through the end of the year, and in that email are all the specifics you'll need to buy tickets. There are codes, specific on sale dates and all kinds of secret stuff. If you're not a Ticketmaster Verified Fan, you're out of luck. (Marino)
Ratings:
Really good ratings for the "60 Minutes" interview with STORMY DANIELS.
Nielsen overnight ratings reported 21.3 million people watched the show, making it the most-watched show of the season. That's the best numbers for "60 Minutes" since their interview with President BARACK OBAMA in 2008, which pulled in 24.5 million viewers.
It didn't hurt that the overtime NCAA basketball game also had 25.6 million viewers, providing a strong lead-in for "60 Minutes." -
