Diseases and Dat Flu Bug:
Just when you thought flu season was over, the CDC is warning that influenza B has overtaken influenza A --which is the flu we've been dealing with up until now-- and we may be in line for a possible second wave of flu.
The CDC says they had more influenza B cases reported last week than the influenza A category, and here's some more bad news --the CDC also says it's possible to get sick with both influenza A and influenza B in a single season.Political Racket /Dirty Tricks:
CNN reports that Facebook CEO MARK ZUCKERBERG has decided testify before Congress, as he faces increasing pressure to publicly answer questions about data the 2016 TRUMP campaign ingested from about 50-million Facebook accounts as part of an effort to target voters. In a letter to Zuckerberg, House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman GREG WALDEN of Oregon wrote, "As the Chief Executive Officer of Facebook and the employee who has been the leader of Facebook through all the key strategic decisions since its launch, you are the right person to testify before Congress about those decisions and the Facebook business model."
However, Zuckerberg has declined to appear in front of Parliament in London, as an investigation continues into the British firm Cambridge Analytica. (Pacelli)Trolling for publicity:
DANICA PATRICK is a happy girl. The speed demon enjoyed a unicorn-themed birthday bash last weekend, showed off photos of the shindig on social media and her new boyfriend, AARON RODGERS, made the cut. Danica turned the big 3-6, says she "loves getting older!!!!!!!!!," is "super grateful for all the love around me in my life" and encouraged followers: "Don't forget to dream big for the things you want in your life."(Lee)
On, off and way-off-Broadway:
TWISTED SISTER frontman DEE SNIDER will join the cast of Broadway's "Rocktopia." He'll be the guest performer from April 9th through the 15th. The fusion of rock and classical music opened last night at the Broadway Theater. Dee was already on Broadway as Dennis in "Rock of Ages." CHEAP TRICK singer ROBIN ZANDER will be in "Rocktopia" from April 23rd through the 29th. (Marino)
