Off the beaten path:
In case you missed it, last Thursday was "Drive Your Tractor to School Day."
Students at Fremont High School in Michigan rode to school on farm equipment last week. The idea was started 14-years-ago as an unofficial event and has since become an annual tradition at the school. The school's parking lot was overflowing with forty or more tractors, with even more farm equipment showing up at the nearby elementary school. Superintendent KEN HAGGART says, "It gives us an opportunity to recognize the importance of farming in our community." (Still)The White House:
Is KELLYANNE CONWAY the top White House "leaker?"
That's the guess from the conservative author of a new book on the TRUMP White House. Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," RONALD KESSLER --author of, "The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game"-- claimed that in at least one interview with Conway, she forgot that they were on-the-record and ripped into her fellow colleagues, including former former chief of staff REINCE PRIEBUS, IVANKA TRUMP and JARED KUSHNER.
Kessler said, "So if you wonder why there are so many leaks out of the White House, one reason is Kellyanne Conway is the number one leaker." (Pacelli)Fashion Emergency:
CHARLIE PUTH says men wearing women's clothing is no big deal. Really. The singer-songwriter told Teen Vogueat the Hunter x Target Family Festival "I'm really into wearing women's everything, lately. It just fits me and I like it." The "See You Again" singer showed off the new Target designer collaboration wearing the Hunter for Target blue and red Chelsea boot and paired it with clothing traditionally earmarked for women --soft yellow Adidas track pants, a loose-fitting black tee, and layers of Chanel necklaces. Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
TAYLOR SWIFT did a surprise concert Saturday night in Nashville, for around 40 people. The Tennessean newspaper says she showed up at the Bluebird Cafe to sing a few tunes and tell a few stories with songwriter CRAIG WISEMAN. The Bluebird was one of the first places Taylor performed when she got started so it was a real homecoming show. (Marino)
