School daze:
Like high school isn't awkward enough.
Seventeen-year-oldLIZZY MARTINEZ, of Braden River High School in Manatee, Florida, decided to not wear a bra under her shirt on Monday. She said that's whenthe dean of the school told her that she was being a distraction to her fellow students and asked her to put another shirt on underneath the one she already had on.
When that didn't work, Lizzy was sent to the nurse and given four Band-Aids to use as pasties. Lizzy left school early, feeling humiliated and told her mother what happened. After several conversations with school officials, her mother still felt that she had gotten nowhere or talked to anyone understanding.
Now,Lizzy plans to not wear a bra to school anymore to protest the embarrassing way she was treated. See what she was wearing here. (Myers)
