Just a note: Although ARETHA FRANKLIN's very sick, as a tribute to the first woman to ever be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you might want to pick up a new box set of songs from her biggest years with Atlantic Records. It will be in stores September 28. "The Atlantic Singles Collection 1967-1970" has 34 singles on 2-CDs in order of release including some of Aretha's best known hits like "Respect," "I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)," "A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel Like)," and others.
PS: Aretha was inducted into the Rock Hall in 1987.

Tell me it won't be weird to see MARK HAMILL in season 2 of "Knightfall." The History channel says he'll be playing a battle-hardened Knight Templar veteran of the Crusades, who survived captivity for 10 years in the Holy Land and is tasked with training the new initiates to the Order. But... no light sword.

Chick-Fil-A fans may be in for a new treat --ABC News says the company is testing spicy chicken strips at locations in Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma. The strips are apparently an offshoot of the chain's spicy chicken strip sandwich. And, it's a step forward, since they began testing the strips in Philadelphia and Texas last year. The spicy strips come in orders of three or four, and with a choice of dipping sauce.
