That FREDDIE MERCURY and QUEEN biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody,"is set to have its world premiere Oct 23 at Wembley Stadium, where Queen played in front of 72-thousand people for the 1985's Live Aid concert. The film also stars the film stars Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon and Gwilym Lee as Brian May.
Speaking of movies, lotsa audience reaction at the premiere of the new version of "A Star Is Born" Sunday night at the Toronto Film Festival. The movie, which stars BRADLEY COOPER and LADY GAGA (and is directed by Cooper), picked up a standing ovation during the closing credits as well as one in the Q&A session afterward. "That just doesn't happen" says the Hollywood Reporter, which also says the movie should be a favorite at next year's Oscars.
ANTHONY BOURDAIN's CNN series, "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown," picked up six Emmy Awards at this year's Creative Arts Emmys, including best informational series or special and best writing for non-fiction program. Of course, the awards come three months after his suicide on June 8 while in France working on an episode.
Tonight, look for the Season 15 winner on "So You Think You Can Dance." And, if you're an "X-Files" fan, BBC America is running a five-day marathon of all the "X-Files" episodes which will run through Saturday at 2 am. "The truth is out there. But so are lies." --Dana Scully.
