Sir ELTON JOHN and DAVID FURNISH sued the London Sun and won. The tabloid claimed in February that their dog inflicted "Freddy Krueger-like" injuries on a child during a play date. But London's High Court agreed with the pair's lawyer, who said the injuries were not serious and that the paper's story was "false and seriously defamatory." And it was picked up by a number of other papers as well, probably adding to the monetary damages which were said to be "significant."

KRISTEN BELL let it slip yesterday --a new Veronica Mars series is coming to Hulu. She released a video yesterday noting that next summer, re-runs of the old Veronica Mars episodes "will be available on Hula to stream and re-watch, which is great because you'll need to brush up since we're making another one."
The old episodes include seasons 1-3 plus the feature film. And as Kristen put it on Instagram: "Thank you to Hulu for the opportunity. I hope we're still friends after I taser you."
