Another semi-important announcement: “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special” will be airing on ABC, Sunday, Dec 02, in case you've been wondering what new piece of lingerie to get that special someone for the holidays.

EMMA ROBERTS has bagged her role as a skater-girl in Netflix’s “Spinning Out,” about an up-and-coming, high-level single skater who’s about to turn in her skates after a disastrous fall took her off the competition track. Apparently she has another role that will conflict with the film.

“Jeopardy” fans will be happy to find out that ALEX TREBEK has signed a new deal through the 2021-2022 TV season. He'd originally said he'd be leaving after his contract expired in 2020, but now will remain with the game show for a couple of more years. Just in case you're interested, Alex's salary has been estimated at $10 million a year, not counting the commercial endorsements, etc.

While we're on the subject, look for an additional two years for PAT SAJAK and VANNA WHITE across the street at “Wheel of Fortune” --they'll be there through 2022 as well. And in case you're wondering, Vanna reportedly pulls down $8 million a year, while Pat gets $12 million a year.

And Daily Variety reports WILLIAM SHATNER could be back on TV in a reboot of “Rescue 911.” The “Star Trek” legend would reportedly be the host of the new series which --unlike the original series-- would feature a live look at first responders taking real emergency calls every week along with a panel made up of actual fire fighters, EMTs, and police.
