Just some items you might not have heard of...
Congrats to JANET JACKSON, who picked up MTV's Global Icon Awardat the Europe Music Awards, yesterday (Nov 04, 2018). It's the latest honor for Janet --in May, she became the first black woman to receive the Icon Award from the Billboard Music Awards. And she's a nominee for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; this year's inductees will be announced in December.
Stevie Wonder has announced his 22nd annual House Full Of Toys benefit concert, but you probably won't be attending, since it's Sunday, December 9th at Los Angeles' Staples Center. The yearly event benefits children, people with disabilities, and families in need.
Orleans are the latest band to join the Rock and Romance Cruise Mar 25thin Ft Lauderdale, along with Foreigner, Little River Band, Grand Funk and a buncha tribute bands.
JON BON JOVI has just extended his latest tour, which has already made more than $83 million. Shows are coming up in Japan and Australia in this month and in December. Then, next year he's headed to Russia in May along with the U.K., Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Austria, ending in Romania in July. $83 million... certainly not livin' on a prayer...!
That mansion on the Upper East Side that MICHAEL JACKSON used to call home ...a six story place on East 74th Street and Central Park with eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and 10 wood-burning fireplaces... sold for $32 Million last month... to some tech guy from London.
