SARAH SILVERMAN is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday morning (Nov 09) at 11:30 am (Pacific) in front of the Hollywood Toy & Costume store at 6600 Hollywood Boulevard. Although Sarah has a ton of projects going on, the appearance is pretty much plugging her show, "I Love You, America," on Hulu and she's back as the voice of Vanellope in the film "Ralph Breaks The Internet," which will be out on November 21st.
See ya! Actor TARON EGERTON broke the news that he won't be in the next "Kingsman" film as super spy Gary "Eggsy" Unwin, telling Yahoo UK "That doesn't mean I won't be in Kingsman ever again. I was with MATTHEW [VAUGHN] as little as a few days ago, we're still very much in business together, but his next journey in that world doesn't involve me."
Today's sexual harassment update: PATTON OSWALT has picked up the role of lead dog Max in the upcoming "Secret Life of Pets 2" after LOUIS C.K. was dropped from the sequel after he admitted to sexual misconduct. The plot line of the latest film is reportedly about how dogs feel about their visits to the vet.
With the Dow Jones average jumping up nearly 550 points (supposedly on the news that the two parts of Congress --the House and Senate-- were gonna be split, the resignation yesterday of U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions sent several marijuana stock prices soaring as well. That's because Sessions had said in January that he was gonna revoke the policy that let states make their own rules on weed without opposition from the federal government. It's now legal in 10 states to own or buy recreational marijuana, and 31 states now have approved its medical use.
Food News: Those Pringles Thanksgiving flavored cans of potato chips are all gone --already. The cans of chips --in turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie flavors-- went on sale at 11:59 pm (Eastern) Tuesday night at www.kelloggstore.com and were gone in just 41 minutes, despite the fact that they cost $14.99 (in case you've never bought Pringles, a can sells for around $2 in stores).
In other food news, the restaurant chain Taco Bueno filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday. The company will reportedly be sold to Sun Holdings, a fast-food company which also runs about 800 other restaurants including Burger King, Arby's and Popeyes. The folks at Taco Bueno say they'll be staying open during the transition.
