Today's the day PRESIDENT TRUMP hands out the Medal of Freedom to seven people --including ELVIS PRESLEY and BABE RUTH. He's also decided to honor the late Supreme Court Justice ANTONIN SCALIA along with Utah Sen. ORRIN HATCH, who's retiring after 41 years. In addition, football stars ROGER STAUBACH and ALAN PAGE, who played with the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, then went on to serve more than 20 years as a justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court, are also being honored. MIRIAM ADELSON is also being honored... and no surprise there: she and her husband, the billionaire casino magnate SHELDON ADELSON, shelled out $113 million to Republican and conservative campaigns this past election year.
"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is expected to come close to the first "Fantastic Beasts" movie this weekend, pulling in between $65-75 million at the box office. Look for "The Grinch" to come in second with another $35-40 million and "Bohemian Rhapsody" is hanging in and should make third place with around $18 million.
SHARON TATE's wedding dress is up for sale.
Sharon's sister, DEBRA, has contracted with Julien's Auctions to sell a bunch of her sister's stuff, including her silk mini wedding dress, personal photos, jewelry, makeup and more. The auction takes place Saturday.
Julien's is also selling off MARILYN MONROE's 1956 Ford Thunderbird in an Idols and Icons auction today and tomorrow.
