With KARL LAGERFELD's passing the other day, it's been revealed that the late fashion designer left some of his $200-million dollar fortune to his cat, Choupette (pron. Shoe-PET).
He's had the cat since 2012 and told the French magazine Numero last year that he'd already put cat in his will, "among others." But the cat probably deserves some recognition, since he pulled in $2-million doing ads for a German car firm and a Japanese cosmetics brand with Karl. He also said he's hired two maids to look after the cat, who has "four different dishes prepared for her" each day "served in fabulous bowls." I would expect nothing else.
Choupette also has her own Twitter account (@ChoupettesDiary) and Instagram account as well.
Before you get all up in arms, it turns out none other than OPRAH has reportedly made plans to leave around $30-million to her dogs as well.
Question for your listeners: How much would you leave for your pet(s) in your will... and have you?Interesting report from the Wall Street Journal via TechCrunch which claims that Apple and Goldman Sachs are going to offer an Apple-branded Mastercard.
The card would (of course) work with Apple iPay and be integrated in the Apple operating system, iOS. The big benefit to Apple, of course, it that it increases the number of people who'll be using iPay for stuff, which doesn't happen as much because many people don't think about paying with their iPhone or Apple Watch. The Oscars are Sunday (of course) and all that hubbub over going to spots while awarding several awards (like cinematography) ain't gonna happen... the Academy changed its mind and sez every award will be televised. There'll be the red carpet show on ABC starting at 6:30 ET/3:30 PT until the actual show stars (also on ABC) at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT.
But for those of you who wanna catch the early arrivals, there's "E! Countdown to the Red Carpet" starting at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, followed by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic and "E! Live From the Red Carpet" at 5 ET/2 PT. You've been warned. -
