Fast food update: If you're a fan of Taco Bell, you might want to book a room at the new Taco Bell Hotel and Resort in Palm Springs, CA.
Fox News reports the hotel will be open for a limited time beginning this August, with reservations accepted starting in June. At the hotel, the guest rooms will be Taco themed, as well as a "not-to-miss gift shop," and an onsite salon which will offer Taco Bell-inspired nail art and hairstyles.Hot rumor: ELTON JOHN and TARON EDGERTON will perform together at tonight's (Thursday night) "Rocketman" premiere party at the Cannes Film Festival. This would be an interesting take on the movie, since he shot the music video for his hit 1983 song "I'm Still Standing" there 37 years ago on the beach.
What would you do if you'd just finished your junior year at Georgetown University with a 3.18 average overall, only to find that the school was taking away all your credits and booting you from the school?
That's what's happening to ADAM SEMPREVIVO, after his father, California sales executive STEPHEN SEMPREVIVO, admitted paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes to get him accepted in the first place. Yes, it's all part of the same scandal involving LORI LOUGHLIN and FELICITY HUFFMAN.
Back when he applied to Georgetown, Adam says he was told by RICK SINGER that GORDON ERNST, Georgetown's tennis coach at the time, was a friend and would provide him a recommendation. But in actuality, Ernst used one of his assigned admission slots as if he was recruiting Adam to play tennis for the university. Turns out Adam's dad paid Singer $400-thousand to get him in, some of which went to the tennis coach. But Adam allegedly had no idea it was going on.
Now Adam is suing Georgetown to block the school from taking disciplinary action against him that could include revoking his earned academic credits and booting him out. And his lawsuit also says his SAT score of 1980 and his weighted high school GPA of 4.067 were within Georgetown's academic standards.Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have picked up what the British Press call "substantial damages" and an apology from Splash News, which hired a helicopter to take pictures of the house they were living in and then published them, forcing them to move into another home.
Buckingham Palace said the pictures, which showed both the living room and dining room as well as the bedroom "undermined the safety and security of The Duke and the home."
Harry and Meghan's official residence is Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, near London, while the house where they were staying was in the Cotswolds region of England.
Splash News has reportedly apologized to the Duke and Duchess. -
