Whoops! In Australia, authorities have had to admit to making a mistake in the country's $50 bills --spelling the word "responsibility" without its third "i" three times on the bills. Fortunately, the printing is in really small, microscopic type, which means it's not obvious to the eye at all, and part of their anti-counterfeiting methodology. But Australia's Reserve Bank says they'll correct the typo on the new versions and gradually remove the 46 million bank notes which have the mis-spellings.
The small type is from a speech given by the first woman elected to the Australian parliament, EDITH COWAN, back in 1921.See ya: DressBarn becomes the latest retail store chain to close its stores. Yesterday, DressBarn's parent company announced they'd eventually be closing all of the approximately 650 stores in the chain, although they were keeping their other stores --which include Ann Taylor and Loft-- open.
