"Game of Thrones" star KIT HARINGTON has reportedly entered a "wellness retreat" to be treated for "personal issues," according to his publicist. The NY Post's Page Six says he's getting treatment for alcohol use and stress at a facility in Connecticut.
No word on exactly where he's at, but one of the top-10 rehab and wellness retreats in Connecticut is the Silver Hill Hospital, in New Caanan. It costs from $37-70 grand a month (depending on what you're being treated for --or recovering from) and has hosted stars including NICK NOLTE, MARIAH CAREY, BILLY JOEL, LIZA MINNELLI and TRUMAN CAPOTE in past years. https://silverhillhospital.org/Coming soon: the iPhone 11 in all its glory. Insiders say the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max will look just like the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone X (whadda surprise) but will feature an upgraded rear camera system with three lenses instead of two as well as new frosted glass backs and m-o-r-e power.
Some sad news for Brits: London's Daily Star tabloid now says it will no longer feature pictures of topless women on Page 3 --taking a page from a fellow British tabloid, the London Sun, which gave up the daily practice back in 2015. Is it possible journalism in the British Isles has emerged in the new century at last?
Once again, IHOP (formerly the International House of Pancakes) is making a change. As you might remember, last year they changed the logo to 'IHOB' to plug their burger menu. This time, the PR folks say the logo won't change from IHOP, but the "P" will mean something different --and they'll let the cat outta the bag on Monday.
For those of you who are tired of this stunting, let's remember that the last time they did this, IHOP sold four times the amount of burgers than it did before the name change. Check, please.Fast food deux: Pizza Hut says it's gonna change its recipe for their Original Pan Pizza, effective immediately. Their PR folks say the sauce and the cheese topping will be different, and they're using a new type of pan that results in a crisper crust.
Lotsa hubbub over whether the US Navy violated Defense Department policy or regulations by wearing a uniform patch with the words "Make Aircrews Great Again" during PRESIDENT TRUMP's visit to the USS Wasp last Tuesday over in Japan.
The patch had a caricature of Trump along with the phrase, but the Armed Forces all have uniform dress codes and regulations against partisan political acts while in uniform. We'll see if there'll be any repercussions over the patches. -
