Sir ELTON JOHN is more than a bit upset over a Russian film company's decision to cut gay sex scenes from "Rocketman." While the company claimed it cut the scenes to comply with Russian laws, Elton --who's spoken out against Russian laws banning "gay propaganda" before-- tweeted Friday that the censorship of Rocketman was a "sad reflection of the divided world we still live in and how it can still be so cruelly unaccepting of the love between two people."
A tip 'o the hat to "Jeopardy!" champ JAMES HOLZHAUER, who announced that he'd be donating $10,000 of his over $2 million-dollar winnings to a charity that helps students stay in school. As you know, James lives in Las Vegas and the "Communities in Schools of Nevada" is a non-profit branch of the nationwide organization that works to prevent children from Kindergarten to grade 12 from dropping out of school.
Fast Food News: Looks like peanut butter treats are in this summer. Steak 'n Shake has a brand-new Reese's Outrageous Milkshake through mid-August. It's made with Reese's Peanut Butter sauce, along with Reese's Pieces in the shake as well --and topped with a maraschino cherry. You're welcome.
And if there's a Cold Stone Creamery near you, they have also jumped on the Reese's bandwagon with brand-new Reese's Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cups. Think of it this way: a chocolate cup filled with layers of Reese's Peanut Butter Sauce and chocolate ice cream, topped with a layer of fudge, sea salt, and part of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.It's over when *I* say it's over: FERGIE filed for divorce from JOSH DUHAMEL Friday in Pasadena, almost two years after they announced their separation. Neither of them are talking to reporters about the filing.
Recall dep't: Perdue is recalling some of its Chicken Nuggets, Tenders and Strips due to possible foreign matter contamination. The USDA says the contamination is pieces of bone material with the chicken products being produced on March 21, 2019 and shipped to retail locations throughout the country. You can recognize the products because they have the term "EST. P-369" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The recall includes three 12-ounce products:
--Perdue Simply Smart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders
--Perdue Simply Smart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets
--Perdue Simply Smart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Strips
and 10 pound boxes of
--Chef Quik Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders Boneless Tender Shaped Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat
--Chef Quik Breaded Chicken Breast Strips Strip Shaped Breaded Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat
You can return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund. -
