Now, their next mission is to develop a plant-based fish alternative. The NY Times reports they're not the only ones, either. Good Catch, another specialist in plant-based food, recently started a line of fish-free tuna, which is available at Whole Foods. And it's being described as extremely important, since the world's marine fish stocks are 90 percent depleted, primarily because of overfishing, and billions of people around the world depend on seafood as their main source of protein.Nice move: In Detroit, Michigan Governor GRETCHEN WHITMER has approved a bill naming a portion of a local freeway after ARETHA FRANKLIN. It's not only appropriate since Aretha was raised and lived most of her life in the Motor City, but she also had a hit with the song, "Freeway," from her comeback album "Who's Zoomin' Who."
Aretha passed away last August from pancreatic cancer.Big-time "Jeopardy" winner JAMES HOLZHAUER and the woman who finally was able to beat him, EMMA BOETTCHER, will both be on the show's upcoming 2019 "Tournament of Champions."
The tournament only includes winners from Seasons 34 and 35, so KEN JENNINGS will not be on board for the big challenge. -
