STACY KEACH will be getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning (Wednesday) at 11:30 am (Pacific). "Friends" star MATT LeBLANC and Stacy's wife, MALGOSIA, will be on hand to help with the unveiling. Stacy currently stars in CBS-TV's "Man With A Plan," and has been in a number of other series, including "NCIS: New Orleans," "Blue Bloods," "The Blacklist," along with starring in Mickey Spillane's "Mike Hammer" and "Titus."
Rolling Stone magazine reports there's a new documentary about JOHN LENNON and YOKO ONO in the works, with new interviews with Yoko, JULIAN LENNON, and the musicians who played on Imagine, among others. "John & Yoko: Above Us Only Sky" will reportedly be out Fri, Sep 13, and also be out on DVD and Blu-ray as well as a digital release.
Pretty much everybody in the money field expects the Fed to cut its interest rates by 25 basis points at the conclusion of its two-day meeting today (Wednesday). That will mean lower borrowing costs for the first time since the depths of the financial crisis more than a decade ago. Since then, there's been nine increases of 25 basis points... so that's why experts believe they might go backwards by the same amount. There's still three meetings before the end of the year (Sep 17-18, Oct 29-30 and Dec 10-11) by the Federal Open Market Committee.
Tonight (Wednesday night) there's a Black Moon... what they call the second new moon of the month, something that rarely occurs. Sure, it does happen occasionally, since the moon cycle takes about 29 days and our months are longer than that.
So around every 32 months, you either get a second full moon --or a second new moon. As you know, the second full moon in a month is called a "Blue" moon, while the second new moon is called a "Black" moon.
