A new study claims hot flashes in women are linked to heart problems, stroke and cognitive decline later in a woman's life. CNN reports the study shows there's also a difference between mild and infrequent hot flashes, and those that are much stronger.
Doctors say their study claims women with more frequent hot flashes have been linked to double the risk of heart attacks, strokes and heart failure later in a woman's life. And in younger women, more frequent hot flashes could be linked to "cognitive dysfunction," decreasing the ability to pay attention and perform higher-level thinking tasks as they age.Disney World has jumped on the vegan bandwagon. Yesterday, the Mouse House announced its two U.S. theme parks --Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California-- will start serving plant-based options at all of the major restaurants within the parks.
