BRYAN ADAMS will be joining VAN MORRISON, AEROSMITH, PAULA ABDUL, CELINE DION, MARIAH CAREY, CHICAGO, CHER, ERIC CLAPTON, JOURNEY, THE EAGLES and others by heading to Las Vegas next spring for a limited run at the Wynn Hotel in April.
ROSIE PEREZ will be a regular on KALEY CUOCO's new HBO limited series, "The Flight Attendant." Rosie will be playing the leader of a team of flight attendants, of which Kaley is one. In the series, Kaley wakes up one morning in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man beside her --and no idea what happened the night before.
It's ba-a-a-ack: THE WHO's classic rock opera, "TOMMY," is coming back to Broadway 26 years after it first debuted. The 1993 production ran for two years and 889 performances, winning five Tony Awards along the way. DES McANUFF, who directed the original Broadway show, will be doing the new one as well, and promises that it will be updated and "a reinvention aimed directly at today."
Fast food news: Dunkin' Donuts --now just "Dunkin"-- will be rolling out a new, "Beyond Sausage Sandwich" for breakfast after a successful test run in Manhattan earlier this summer. Of course, the sandwich will have a no-meat, plant-based Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty topped off with an egg and American cheese and served on an english muffin. Although the sandwich goes on sale for the first time on November 6th, some Dunkin' locations will be having a "tasting event," where you'll be able to sample the new sandwich from 8-10 am on Friday and Saturday, Nov 8-9 --while supplies last.
