Paramount Pictures is working on a movie about THE BEE GEES.
The Wrap reports the company already has picked up the lifetime rights to Gibb estate --which means MAURICE, ROBIN and BARRY GIBB's stories --and will be doing the film using GRAHAM KING and his Gk Films to produce it. If that name sounds familiar, it should be --Graham is the same guy who produced "Bohemian Rhapsody."Tired of all the stories about men's basketball? JOHN STAMOS is going to be the coach of a girl's high school basketball team in his next TV series. It's called "Big Shots," and will be on Disney Plus with mega-producer DAVID E. KELLEY backing him up. Stamos plays a coach who got fired from his job coaching a college team and the only school which will hire him is an elite all-girls private high school. Look for some interesting comebacks and insults from the girls on the team!
Would it surprise you to find out that an Indiana woman who kept 140 snakes caged in her home was found dead Wednesday night with a snake wrapped around her neck?
State Police called the house in Oxford, Indiana, a "reptile home" and said nobody actually lived in the house and the woman apparently just used the house as a place to keep the snakes.Game show producer HARRY FRIEDMAN is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11:30 am (Pacific). You may not know the name, but you've seen his shows --Friedman produced two most lasting and successful syndicated programs of all time: "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!". Coincidentally, his star will be next to the star of PAT SAJAK as well. Pat, VANNA WHITE and ALEX TREBEK will all be on hand for the ceremony, too.
Food update: In celebration of World Vegan Day tomorrow, on Friday November 1st, the folks at Ben & Jerry's are giving away a free scoop of their non-dairy, vegan ice cream from 4 till 8 pm.
