The folks at Pantone have announced their 2020 color of the year --and that would be Classic Blue, which they claim is a shade reminiscent of "the sky at dusk."
Oh, and if you were wondering if the blue was a sneaky way to endorse democrats in the 2020 election, the company has denied it.While we're on the political beat, actors WOODY HARRELSON and JUSTIN THEROUX have been tabbed to star in an upcoming HBO limited series about the Watergate scandal.
Called "The White House Plumbers," Woody will play former CIA officer E. HOWARD HUNT, while Justin will play former FBI agent G. GORDON LIDDY.And another political story --former Playboy model KAREN McDOUGAL, who claims she had an affair with DONALD TRUMP after they met in 2006, has now filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News, taking issue with a TUCKER CARLSON segment in which he inferred that she engaged in extortion, or as he put it last December, "approached Donald Trump and threatened to ruin his career and humiliate his family if he (didn't) give them money." As you may remember, Trump's attorney at the time, MICHAEL COHEN, paid McDougal $150-thousand dollars before Tucker made his comments on the show.
KEVIN COSTNER is helping write and will be the executive producer in a new drama about a bunch of special agents who work for the National Parks system and who are tasked to solve the worst crimes committed inside the Pacific West region.
No word on stars for the series, yet.
