You've probably heard about passengers on cruise ships up against it when there've been people who contracted coronovirus aboard. And you usually don't think of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers as cruise ships, but the same thing's happened aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, which was diverted to Guam, where all 5,000 crew members aboard will undergo testing after "dozens" of sailors tested positive for the virus.
Lotsa Coronavirus parodies out there, including a bunch using QUEEN's "Rhapsody"... but for my money, this one's the best HERE.
Today's Fast food /coronavirus update: Starbucks sez they'll dish out free coffee to first responders and health care workers. The offer's good from now until May 3rd at participating Starbucks stores.
And Krispy Kreme is ramping up a special for healthcare workers as well. Every Monday thru May 11, show the folks at one of the locations your medical employer badge, tell them how many dozens of Original Glazed Doughnuts you need, and the store will provide a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts --or more-- depending on how many you need. For more details, head HERE.
Finally, word that MEGHAN MARKLE's first gig now that she's outside the royal palace with her hubby will be to narrate the Disney documentary “Elephant,” a nature film which is set to debut April 03 on Disney Plus. Harry will not be making a cameo voiceover, but there is word that the closing credits list her as “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.”
