Just because you're stuck at home and socially distanced doesn't mean you can't get hacked. Witness the law firm of Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks, which is the firm used by Rod Stewart, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand, Barry Manilow, Lil Nas X, The Weeknd, Madonna, U2 and Drake --and that's just some of the music stars. The BBC reports the hackers claimed to have downloaded 756 gigabytes of data including contracts, personal emails and more, and released a screenshot of a Madonna contract to prove it.
The search for WWII war criminals has never ended, and Variety sez they're making a TV series about it, based on UKI GOÑI's book, called “The Real Odessa: Smuggling the Nazis to Perón’s Argentina.” BTF Media's new series reportedly claims Argentine President JUAN PERÓN helped Nazis find safety in Argentina --and that both the Catholic Church and Allied intelligence agencies gave them escape routes. The book the series is based on was originally published in 2002.
Sorry to hear JETHRO TULL’s IAN ANDERSON suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In an interview with DAN RATHER on his AXS TV series, Anderson says “I have what are known as exacerbations: Periods when I get an infection, it turns into severe bronchitis and I have maybe two or three weeks of really a tough job to go out there onstage and play. Fingers crossed, I’ve gone 18 months now without an exacerbation.” Hear the whole interview on AXS tonight (Wednesday) at 8 pm (Eastern).
One of the big things since social distancing took effect is street racing, and Ontario Provincial Police nabbed an 18-year-old doing 191 mph in his father's Mercedes. He's apparently just one of more than 150 drivers that have been charged since the start of May since the streets are more vacant than usual thanks to people staying indoors for the most part. In case you're wondering, that's a seven day license suspension and the vehicle getting impounded for seven days as well. Plus, if charged with "stunt driving," (which is pretty likely), he could also be fined $10-grand, get six months in jail and lose his license for two years as well.
