Look for TIMOTHY OLYPHANT to star in the upcoming second season of Disney-Plus's the “The Mandalorian.” No word on what role he'll be playing yet in the “Star Wars” show, but there's already word that Boba Fett will appear this season as well as a Jedi character called Ahsoka Tano, played by ROSARIO DAWSON.
Rolling Stone reports PRESIDENT TRUMP’s son, ERIC, is asking people to believe that the Democrats are in the process of putting off Americans' reopening. The reason --so his dad can’t hold arena re-election rallies. "And guess what," he told JEANNE PIRRO, "...after November 3rd (election day), coronavirus will magically all of a sudden go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen.”
Sorry to hear that PHYLLIS GEORGE passed away Friday from a blood disorder. She was 70 years old. Phyllis began her colorful TV career as the co-host of “Candid Camera” back in 1974, then segued into sports, joining the “NFL Today” team and became one of the best known sportscasters in the business as a result. But even before she was in TV, she'd won the Miss America beauty pageant in 1971. She also co-anchored the CBS Morning News as well.
Greece has announced plans to reopen the country for tourists beginning July first, and the NY Post reported yesterday that some popular Mexico tourist destinations --including Cancun and Tulum-- are planning to reopen to international travelers by the beginning of June. And airlines including Southwest, Delta and Air Canada say they'll also resume flights to Cancun as well. Up until now, the US/Mexican border has been closed to all nonessential travel. But it looks like that's going to end.
CNN Business reports people who use Apple's iPhones could be getting a new phone if they need one, since the Taiwan-based company, Foxconn, the main assembler of Apple products including the iPhone and iPad, says all of its major factories in mainland China are back to normal again after being shut down to prevent the spread of the coronavirus earlier this year.
