Now that September is here, you're probably all excited about the debuts of the new fall season on TV. Not so fast --the networks, because of the pandemic and delays in production, have pretty much postponed the new season into November. There will be some shows which have been produced overseas and some streaming shows later in September, but most of the stuff will debut in November.
And let's talk about the holidays --Variety reports MARIAH CAREY will be headlining a Christmas special at Apple TV+ this winter, with music, dancing and animation.
WILL SMITH and the other stars of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” will be doing a special on HBO Max to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary. The Hollywood Reporter says they'll be taping the show September 10th and it'll also star TATYANA ALI, KARYN PARSONS, JOSEPH MARCELL, DAPHNE MAXWELL REID, ALFONSO RIBEIRO, DJ JAZZY JEFF, as well as some surprise guests. It'll debut around Thanksgiving on HBO Max.
He said he'll be ba-a-a-ack, and yes --the Terminator, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, will be starring in and executive producing an hourlong spy series. Deadline says it's a global spy adventure with a father and daughter at the center of the story. No word yet on who'll play the daughter.
Not so good news: The folks at Johns Hopkins University report the US has now surpassed six million cases of Covid-19 --almost a quarter of the world's total cases. More than 183-thousand people have now died. The world total is above 25 million currently.
