Would you go on a cruise despite the Coronavirus problems and social distancing? Maybe you would if you knew MELISSA ETHERIDGE and JEWEL will be performing. Yep, Rolling Stone reports the Melissa Etheridge Cruise IV will be setting sail November 12th through the 18th, in 2021, aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship. Destinations include Great Stirrup Cay, Ocho Rios, and Nassau. How much? $1,270 per person, plus taxes and fees, and there's benefits if ya book before the end of this year, including a free beverage package, an early bird discount and a selection of staterooms. Head to www.themelissaetheridgecruise.com.
Tragedy: The folks at Chicago's Second City comedy club, have announced that the club is up for sale. The reason, of course, is the pandemic, since Second City had to suspend all of its shows and classes in early March. Of course, Second City alumni include folks like JOHN BELUSHI, TINA FEY, BILL MURRAY, STEVE CARELL, JORDAN PEELE, KEEGAN-MICHAEL KEY, JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS, STEPHEN COLBERT and DAN AYKROYD.
Gotta love KYLIE JENNER, who used her latest bikini shot for good --the post asked people to register to vote in this fall's elections and as a result, Vote.org reported an 80-percent increase in overall traffic, and as many as 48-thousand voter registrations.
Great holiday gift? The folks at a company called FCTRY --obviously pronounced Factory, but spelled differently-- have turned Dr. ANTHONY FAUCI into an action figure. It'll cost you $20 for the Fauci figure, which comes complete with a removable mask, and clad in a lab coat just like you've seen him on TV. The company says Fauci "won't crack under pressure" because he's crafted with acrylic-based plastic and it's donating $1 to the League of Women Voters for every action figure it sells. Head to their Kickstarter to order yours but the company also says you won't get him until after the beginning of the year.
